Prayer times that fit your location
Use calculated prayer times for locations worldwide, with recognised calculation methods and Hanafi or non-Hanafi Asr options. Or import your mosque’s one-year or recurring yearly timetable from Excel.
Save locations with their own timetable settings, see optional prayer and Jumu’ah times, and find the Qibla using an interactive globe. Prayer times remain available offline once loaded.
Daily records, Qadha and Zakat
- My prayers: record the five daily prayers, edit earlier days and explore your statistics. Calendar shows a read-only overview of your registrations.
- Qadha: keep estimates and dated make-up prayer records, follow remaining totals and see your recorded pace. Daily registrations and Qadha stay separate.
- Zakat: calculate from your entered assets and liabilities, save valuations by year and record payments. Saved records retain their valuation details; recording a payment does not transfer money.
Calendar, Ramadan and written guides
Explore Gregorian and Hijri dates and Islamic occasions across years. Read written month and event guides with sources and context.
Ramadan brings together expected dates, Suhoor and Iftar times, fasting records and your saved start and month duration. Open it throughout the year from Settings. Calendar-derived dates are estimates, not confirmation of moon sighting.
Everyday essentials stay free
Prayer times, Qibla, Calendar and history browsing, written guides, daily prayer registration and statistics, Qadha, Zakat and Ramadan are free.
The Apple Watch app is also free, with prayer times, daily and Qadha registration, and saved Zakat summaries. One iPhone prayer-times Home Screen widget is included free.
Make it yours with Zād+
Zād+ is an optional one-time purchase. It adds more Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, all Apple Watch widgets and complications, Calendar category and registration-visibility controls, and Olive, Dune and Slate themes with Live or Still backgrounds.
Open Settings → Zād+ to see your local price. There is no recurring subscription for the new purchase, and core features stay free. Verified previous subscription purchases retain permanent Zād+ access, including after expiry; refunded or revoked purchases do not grant access.
Your records stay on your devices
Zād has no account registration, advertising or analytics tracking. Location access is optional: you can search for and save a place manually. Prayer, Qadha and Zakat records stay on your devices; external services provide prayer times, place searches, metal prices and exchange rates.
Selected data is shared with your widgets and paired Apple Watch. This does not provide cloud sync between iPhone and iPad. See the Privacy Policy for the information sent to service providers.
A reference and calculation tool
Zād provides source-based information rather than personal religious advice. Prayer times and Islamic dates can differ between authorities and local communities. Follow your local mosque or trusted organisation where appropriate, and ask a qualified teacher about personal application.
